The primary purpose is to respond and assist the Gastroenterologist and the Registered Nurse by providing assistance to professional staff of GI during the pre-procedure, procedure or post-procedure period. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and maintaining inventory control.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year medical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Required to complete the SGNA GI Associates program and receive the certificate of completion within 18 months of employment.On-the-job training will be provided.Work ScheduleVaried Shifts, 7:00am-4:30pm, occasional weekend/holiday/call; 72 hours every 2 weeksApprox. 1 out of every 10 weekendsApprox. 1 holiday every other yearPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below.
