Requirements:

  • Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
  • PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.
About the job:
  • Provides safe and effective drug therapy management to improve the outcomes of patients.
  • Works centrally and de-centrally to perform all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including clinical interactions with the health care team, patient care monitoring, accurate dispensing and supervisory of the pharmacy technicians.
  • Consults with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the best patient care and evidenced based medicine.
  • Ensures that the physician's orders are evidenced based and that the best pharmaceutical therapy is initiated appropriately.
  • Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians.
