High-Level Individual Duties: 30-60-90-day plans for this?

  • Administration
  • Both tickets and projects
  • Troubleshoot and administration
  • Rotational on call program (1 every 10 weeks)
  • Candidates must be comfortable with working after hours


Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
  • Strong experience as an MQ administrator,
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of MQ administration, including troubleshooting and problem analysis.
  • Ability to handle day-to-day administration tasks, including ticket management and project work.
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze issues and efficiently troubleshoot problems.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems (Linux) and mainframe environments.
  • 6-10 years of experience


Nice to Have:
  • Experience with mainframe technologies, such as AS/400, z/OS, Linux, and AIX.
  • Familiarity with different operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and mainframe.
  • Understanding of large-scale MQ deployments, such as managing multiple Queue managers or servers.
  • Prior experience working with diverse environments, adapting to different setups and configurations.
