Job Summary : As a Tax Manager, you will lead various phases of tax compliance engagements, including document management, tax return preparation, and tax planning. Key Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee client engagements from initiation to completion.

Review and evaluate tax associate work for accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate the completion of client tax returns, ensuring readiness for final partner review.

Represent clients during Federal and State tax audits.

Conduct detailed federal tax research on significant projects such as R&D Credits and Net Investment Income Tax issues.

Stay updated on evolving federal and state tax regulations.

Collaborate with Client Accounting and Assurance departments to meet comprehensive client needs.

Communicate effectively with clients through meetings, written correspondence, and responses to inquiries.

Provide tax planning and projection services.

Foster and maintain positive relationships with both clients and team members.

Lead, train, and provide performance feedback to junior staff.

Requirements

CPA or EA license, or the ability to obtain a license within the first year of employment; a company-sponsored incentive program is available.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.

Minimum of 4 years of tax experience in a public accounting environment.

Prior management experience is highly advantageous.

Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.

Highly motivated with a strong internal drive to meet deadlines and management objectives.
