Quality Assurance Engineer, Sr

What does a successful Quality Engineer do at Fiserv?

Help guide our development teams and lead them in building out document management solutions. Assist in driving quality and excellence by working with team in performing manual and automated test execution. Our environment consists of modern APIs, microservices, front end applications, third-party services integrations.

What You Will Do

Be a part of an Agile team: review and contribute to user stories to identify acceptance criteria, while building test scripts (manual and automated) to validate criteria.
Debug software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, manual/automate scripts and programs for testing.
Implement, execute, and debug manual/automated test scripts using various technologies and tools.
Generate API Level Automated Test Scripts using various technologies and tools.
Conduct all phases of software testing: test planning, functional testing, and regression testing.
Contribute along with fellow QA automation engineers on test automation best practices.
Collaborate with product owners, and software engineers to understand requirements and business use cases.
Ensure validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Sett up and tear down environments for internal and external testing which are needed for internal testing and customer integration.
Provide assistance with customer implementation issues as necessary.

What You Will Need To Have

3-5 years of QA and/or development experience using industry-standard processes including some customer facing projects.
2+ years of QA Automation experience.
Experience testing REST API calls.
Experience in writing advanced level SQL queries.
Experience writing automated test scripts (Cucumber, Selenium).
Ability to set up test environments and test beds.
Advanced problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Expertise testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end testing.
Expertise with product that integrates document management, business process automation and records management application (ex: Hyland OnBase or Fiserv Nautilus).

What Would Be Great To Have

InDepth knowledge of Hyland OnBase or Fiserv Nautilus software (highly desired)
Knowledge with Selenium automation is a plus.
Knowledge working with Jira and Zephyr is preferred.
Related banking industry experience in platforms, banking applications, or online financial solutions.
Industry Certifications in Quality Assurance, Agile Scrum, or Public Cloud.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
