About the role

This role is responsible for design and optimization of a forecasting model that allows for a network level forecast which accurately predicts daily demand and supply at a micro and macro level across a set of competing mobile assets. You will leverage your experience with statistical analysis, time series methods, machine learning, data visualization, and storytelling to expand the reach and scale of forecasting capabilities. You will also be responsible for exploratory data analysis to identify business and growth opportunities.

* Enhance, develop, and iterate on a forecasting model to accurately predict demand at multiple levels

* Partner with business leaders, data scientists, and product managers to incorporate data models and analyses into business processes

* Use data science to identify opportunities to improve and grow our business

* Be willing to learn, grow, and build with a startup mindset that can also operate at scale

The experience you have

* Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or similar discipline

* 5+ years of work experience in statistical modeling, data mining, data analysis, or similar analytics experience.

* Experience with using R, SQL, and Python.

* Experience applying analytical and programming skills against data-intensive and complex modeling or systems development

* Ability to understand business drivers and solve ambiguous and complex problems, with analytical mindset and business judgement.

* Experience managing analytics projects from inception to delivery.

* You enjoy being scrappy in an agile, high growth startup environment that has newly formed processes and systems

* High levels of critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity.

* Ability to communicate complex system and topics in a clear and concise manner
