Job Summary
This position works with guidance from the supervisor to prepare and present routine reports and occasionally lead routine problem-solving efforts. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
*Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision *Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies *Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects *Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment *Prepare and present routine reports *Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requested*Maintain station VFDs. , SCADA (ABB DCS) and PLC Systems, Wonderware, PLC: Allen Bradley and GE.
*Understand the design and application of plant electrical, instrumentation and controls with experience in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of these items.
*Design, build, test, and maintain equipment that automates the monitoring and control of machinery
*Program, troubleshoot and make modifications to DCS, PLC and HMI systems.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear) from an accredited program. *Minimum 2 yrs. related job experience *Experience with DCS and/or PLC hardware, logic programming and troubleshooting.Key Metrics:
*Teamwork and collaboration skills within the team/department *Effective written and verbal communication skills. *Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department *Basic understanding of power generation operations. *Basic understanding of economic drivers to the business. *Apply basic problem solving techniques to address routine issuesJob Family
