Head of Technology – Logistics Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development and implementation of the logistics’ Technology, Strategy and Core Business Solution. Create and implement technology strategies for logistics business Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company’s products and services Serve on the executive committee to align technology goals to other departmental and organizational objectives Provide leadership in the design of best practice methodology of Information, Security organisational policies, procedures and processes in line with relevant, legislation and industry standards. Present reports on the company’s technology status, goals and or progress Align the company’s technology resources with the organization’s short- and long-term goals Assist in recruiting, onboarding and training IT department Manage the department’s budget Requirement

Proven experience in Technology field Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications Knowledge of all functions and roles withing IT department Knowledge of best information security practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organization and time-management skills Outstanding communication abilities BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus Ability to manage large budgets effectively Ability to meet deadlines under pressure What We Offer
