What you will be doing:•Defining metallurgical requirements for projects to be cast•Troubleshoot problems with castings•Provide technical support to both external and internal customers•Lead or assist with continuous process improvements What they are looking for:BS Metallurgical or Materials Engineering5+ years prior hands-on experience working with casting metallurgyMust be a team player who can work with all levels of staffDue to the defense work the company does, you must be a U.S. CitizenExperience with induction furnace melting, arc melting, AOD refining is very helpful The more knowledge you have about the alloys, especially using copper the betterSix-Sigma / Lean Manufacturing practices is also very helpful
