JOB OBJECTIVE: To develop and review specifications for annual purchase orders and Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQ's) for the purchase of vehicular parts and services provided for the Department of Fleet Services; to perform audits and monitor the vehicular parts inventory for the Department of Fleet Services. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. For a complete list of essential job functions please click HERE. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school, supplemented by some college level course work in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related area; two (2) years of experience in inventory control and procurement or a related area and one (1) year experience in technical writing or related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
