POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Creative Director leads the creative team by leveraging extensive design expertise to create innovative and impactful content. Focusing on visual design and targeted messaging, this role aligns with the client's market, organizational goals, and strategies. This hands-on professional works closely with the Global Studio Director on major initiatives while managing their own creative projects and teams, particularly in design and motion.

Collaboration with copywriters and producers is essential to deliver exceptional work in line with brand standards. By staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices, the Associate Creative Director elevates projects and mentors art directors throughout the process. This role drives the creative team toward excellence and achieving outstanding results for clients.

Must have worked with clients in the technology industry.

JOB DUTIES

  • * Conceptualize and execute high-quality visuals for commercials and other clients
  • * Conceive and design storyboards for pitches and for pre-visualizations
  • * Work with Creative Director and other designers to create and design high-caliber motion graphics and other visuals
  • Carry out projects from concept to delivery
  • *Bring forward new and unique ideas and approaches
  • Interact with different levels of management, production, and design teams
  • Regularly communicate with internal account members and clients to ensure projects meet expectations
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operation of junior creative team members, focusing on story and successfully incorporating messaging with design
  • Contributes to best practices through documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Use creative vision to create original concepts that can be carried through
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

CREATIVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years in the creative industry, with a strong background in creative production.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. A combination of education and/or related work experience may be substituted.
  • Proven experience driving creative direction by orchestrating creative vision across proper technologies and team members.
  • Conceptual thinker who can brainstorm to solve problems and identify priorities for design execution against strict quality or brand standards.
  • Advanced design skills, able to define visual characteristics and understand the client's identity to create innovative visual design elements.
  • Strong ability to provide clear creative perspective and timely, helpful feedback to improve creative and deliver quality work.
CREATIVE LEADERSHIP:
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead creative teams to develop creative solutions in all forms of digital and traditional media.
  • High level of responsibility, accountability, and results-driven mindset.
  • Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, cultural trends and philosophies in marketing, technology, and social media.
  • Capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
  • Extensive experience managing creativity and enhancing teamwork through mentoring, supervision, and leadership.
  • Proficient in delegating tasks appropriately, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
  • Ability to prioritize work and resources across multiple engagements based on short and long-term needs.

The salary range for this position is $100k minimum - $125k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
