Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Salary: $110,000-$125,000 + biannual bonus Duration: Permanent; must be able to work on W2 Must Haves 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with .NET 4.8 (MVC), Angular version 12, and C# Most applications are 80% MVC and 20% Angular Understanding of OOP and design structure Must have application knowledge (not at design level) Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Experience building applications from scratch (new development) Plusses Knowledge of AWS Familiar with Git control system Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Day-to-Day Insight Global is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a client in Kansas City to support a major initiative to modernize internal systems in 2026. This is a newly created role focused on development (80%) and production support (20%), with responsibilities including coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes. The engineer will collaborate with a team of approximately 15 programmers, 4 managers, and several program managers across the full software development lifecycle. The work involves building and maintaining a variety of web-based applications that serve different client needs, primarily through on-premises development. Candidates should be self-starters with strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business and product teams. The role requires interacting with high-level leaders and contributing to a fast?paced, collaborative environment. This position is part of a broader effort to make systems faster, more efficient, and better aligned with business goals.
