Project Manager-DNA Portfolio and Delivery

What does a successful Project Manager-DNA Portfolio and Delivery do at Fiserv?

As a Delivery Manager you will manage one or more releases, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a cross-functional, highly skilled team. You’ll be adept at delivering complex initiatives, breaking down barriers for your team and planning at both a high level and granular level with great attention to detail.

What You Will Do

Partner with Product, Technology and other stakeholders across the organization on the delivery of product features and value from strategic concept to fully delivered solution Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams in order to remove impediments and ensure that the product vision is delivered across all efforts (infrastructure, software, etc). Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact completion, budget or other results that may limit the product delivery Help teams measure lead and cycle-time to see how long features take from concept to full delivery Focus 80% of time on managing the delivery process and 20% on documentation/administration Ensure delivery issues are analyzed and resolved in a timely fashion. Participate in maintenance window activities when necessary and make go/no go decisions Oversee delivery team activities and provide direction and guidance as needed to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries Align scope for delivery initiatives Develop deep application knowledge to understand the impact of work being done Manage Risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule & quality Manage Relationships and coordinate work between different teams in various locations and time-zones Measure and Monitor progress, providing weekly/monthly Release reporting, to ensure releases are delivered on-time, within budget

What You Will Need To Have

5+ years of experience in project/program management, supporting end to end delivery process Experience in delivery of software development programs Experience in an agile environment and with agile methodologies Familiarity with JIRA and Clarity

What Would Be Great To Have

Knowledge of and experience working with Fiserv DNA Experience working in a DevOps environment Banking and/or Financial Services experience Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills with experience in agile software development practices Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex projects Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work & teams towards task completion Highly organized & collaborative across multiple business groups and technical teams Advanced verbal & written communication skills are a must High EQ (Emotional Intelligence) and Influencing skills to make critical and thoughtful decisions Has an understanding of value stream management practices and flow Has Systems Thinking and a Continuous Improvement mindset Has Change management and Audit experience BS Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience Experience in Coaching Agile teams and individuals Managerial experience Understanding of CI/CD pipeline, code branching & merges
