This project involves being part of a highly technical and globally distributed development team responsible for designing state-of-the-art Automotive Products. Requirements:

The Engineering Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the execution of day-to-day duties relative to the engineering quality assurance functions of a world-class product design and development team to achieve engineering operational excellence. This role is responsible for establishing the evaluation framework to assess/monitor quality assurance and identify areas for continuous implementation. In addition, this role is responsible for selecting and assessing resources for performing quality assurance activities such as release assessments, process adherence assessments, configuration management audits, quality gate reviews, work product audits, and design reviews with respect to the defined processes. This role identifies and evaluates project-related risks and ensures appropriate migration measures are taken, and a contingency plan is in place. This role is also responsible for identifying training needs and providing training on corporate processes and industry standards to the cross-functional engineering team.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (EE/ME/SE): Masters degree

Preferred. Related Experiences: 6+ years of experience in automotive product development 4+ years in engineering quality assurance role Experience in embedded systems software development (Agile and Disciplined approaches)

Strong knowledge and experience of requirements management and configuration management tools (DOORS, PTCc, JIRA, SVN, SharePoint, Rhapsody, Enterprise).

High-level knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) and cybersecurity (ISO21434).

Experience with full automotive product development lifecycle projects from concept to launch, subject to functional safety (IS026262) compliance and cybersecurity requirements (ISO 21434)

Expert-level knowledge of ASPICE/CMMI ASPICE Provisionals Assessor training and certification (or CMMI certification) ASPICE Competent Assessor training and certification preferred-mechanical and hardware development design knowledge and integration with ASPICE best practices and guidelines. Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology (SCRUM, KANBAN) Strong ability to identify business-critical metrics, create, monitor, and improve these metrics, along with program management skills and ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks. Ability to study, analyze, and develop process improvement recommendations Strong presentation and communication skills Experience with ASPICE L3 certification preferred.

Technical Leadership: This includes being the subject matter expert in this field. Ability to motivate the organization, enforce product technical excellence, and sponsor innovation among the team

Observation, understanding, and execution of applicable company ISO/IATF certification standards related to the role and impact on the overall organization

20% Study and analyze audit results to develop improvement recommendations and provide facilitation sessions on processes for the engineering teams

15% Provide cross-departmental training on process, ASPICE, and other relevant industry standards

20% Facilitate cross-functional process improvement activities and implement metrics to monitor effectiveness

10% Issue quality assurance statistical reports to leadership.

10% Educate and mentor Engineering Quality Assurance resources.

5% Research trending industry practices for lean engineering processes and techniques.
