We are looking for a Financial Analyst The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the Director of Finance. This includes developing and maintaining financial plans, preparing reports of financial results, and managing cash flow and liquidity. The Financial Analyst also works closely with our third party accounting team to facilitate month-end close and estimates, and to manage the commissions processing team, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions. Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Director of Finance in developing and maintaining financial plans, including the annual budget, five-year plan, and monthly forecasts (for both O&M and capital) Prepare analysis and reports of financial results and profitability for senior management Assist in developing budget presentations for the Executive Leadership Assist in cash management process and perform cash forecasting Work with accounting team to facilitate month end close and estimates process Assist with payroll support as needed Assist with external tax advisors as needed Assist with commissions reconciliation functions as needed Monitor and manage financial compliance Maintenance and support of treasury and FP&A systems and controls Perform other duties as requested or assigned What you’ll bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software Bonus Qualifications Experience in developing and presenting budgets Experience in financial compliance Experience with treasury and FP&A systems Experience with Salesforce would be a plus Experience with Amazon Quicksight would be a plus Telecommuting Requirements Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Must live in a location that can receive a MyPlanAdvocate approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service Hybrid Requirement This position is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from our Salt Lake City, UT home office 3 days a week. You will be seated at a desk in our office space. We have chosen this setup to encourage collaboration and communication among team members. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
