What are we looking for? a current architecture student for a temporary role to help organize and digitize our extensive collection of old building plans.
This is a great opportunity for an architecture student to gain hands-on experience working with real construction documents and building plans. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a genuine interest in architectural drawings and historical plans.
Responsibilities:
•Sorting through a large volume of hardcopy architectural plans and drawings for our facility
•Identifying and separating duplicate plans to avoid unnecessary scanning.
•Carefully organizing the plans in preparation for digitization via scanning
•General upkeep and maintenance of the plan archive during the project
Requirements:
•Currently enrolled in an accredited architecture program
•Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural plans/drawings.
•Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
•Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
•This is a temporary position with a flexible schedule to accommodate student availability.
Salary Range: $16-$17/hr
