As our Supervisor of Sterile Processing, you will supervise decontamination and sterilization procedures and assist in keeping the department running smoothly.Your duties and responsibilities may include: · You will maintain accurate sterilization records for all machine tests as well as a monthly report.· You will assure adequate instrumentation functionality for Surgical Services and other areas of the hospital as needed. · You will operate Ultrasonic, Steam, Steris and Sterrad equipment. · You will be responsible for thorough and complete processing of all usable surgical instruments. · You will assist department leadership in any way necessary to keep the department running smoothly, i.e. assist with scheduling, disciplinary actions and training.
