As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for precision CNC machine programming, setup and first piece for lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipment including production and prototype parts. What We Offer $30.00 - $36.00 per hour 1st Shift Overtime as required Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Opportunity for advancement Referral program What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution 8-10+ years of applicable CNC programming experience in a manufacturing/production environment Ability to sit, walk, stand, type, hold, grasp, bend, reach, and lift 30-40 pounds Effectively communicate and interact diplomatically with employees, customers, and associates Ability to learn and accurately use all company software programs Ability to receive and understand training by various methods, i.e., written, on-the-job, computer-based, etc. Ability to create and maintain documentation for reports, procedures, databases, spreadsheets, etc. Sufficient manual dexterity to type and operate office equipment as related to fulfilling assigned duties Ability to understand and fully support the company Mission, Safety and Quality policies to the letter of each Ability to sustain high energy and enthusiasm with the appropriate level of urgency as needed Ability to work independently, make sound and timely decisions, and exercise proper judgment and discretion Ability to manage multiple priorities with keen attention to detail What You'll Do as a CNC Programmer Create, review, and edit precision computer numeric controlled (CNC) machining programs Confer daily with operations team to determine requirements to assure efficient workflow Maintain programming database and files for each part and machining center Provide training, guidance, and expertise to all manufacturing teams Understand capability of manufacturing equipment, operations, software, etc. Perform machine setups including first piece to produce conforming parts Support manufacturing operations team by providing input for routers and process flow Develop and recommend resources and methods for equipment, tooling materials, processes, etc. Track and evaluate costs and efficiency including tooling, material, and cycle Assist in providing information for quotations and contract reviews Perform other tasks as assigned
