ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: - Observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage areas, and count rooms via closed circuit television (cctv), for any instances of criminal activity and/or violations of the state gaming regulations and company policies and procedures.
- The Surveillance Agent shall record such activities, where appropriate, and report observations to appropriate company and state officials when necessary.
- The Surveillance Agent shall assist in answering phone calls, monitoring the radio, maintaining the daily log and writing reports.
- The Surveillance Agent shall have demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of surveillance and casino operations before assuming this position.
- The Surveillance Agent shall assume responsibility for the surveillance room in the absence of a shift supervisor and/or relief shift supervisor.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises team members in the Surveillance room in the absence of a shift supervisor and/or relief shift supervisor, when assigned.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Louisiana State Gaming License/Permit
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit.The team member frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The team member is occasionally required to stand and walk.The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
