Sanitation Driver/Collector

SANITATION DRIVER/COLLECTORCity of Newnan, Georgia The City is currently seeking to fill a position in the Sanitation Department. This exciting position will require the individual to not only work to keep the downtown streets of Newnan clean, but will be the front line of customer service for our downtown residents and business owners. SUMMARY:Under the direct supervision of Sanitation Superintendent, perform intermediate skilled trades work operating heavy equipment in the collection of waste and recyclables, performing equipment inspection and minor repairs and related work as apparent or assigned. The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
