Moore- RsourceOne Division is looking for a Flexo Press OperatorJob Summary: The Flexo Printing Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities:Our Printing Press Operators must adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.Reports all safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor.Maintains a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.Completes make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and rollers are used.Responsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Monitor and respond to error, alert or fault messages Operates press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintain quality, waste, and press efficiency.Maintains consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks includes: copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.Responsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined.Completes press make ready's in an efficient manner.Completes all required equipment maintenance duties.Cleans plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricates press as needed.Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsMust be able to work Overtime when neededGood attendance is a MUSTAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: ability to read and understand job tickets, layout sheet, artwork and other specifications.Previous printing/press experience Must possess the ability to operate basic hand tools.Ability to use a ruler or tape measure to measure in Imperial and metric incrementsSpecific vision abilities required by the Press Operator job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focusMust be able to operate push buttons and move plate sleevesAbility to stand for 12 hours a dayFamiliarity with various types of printing presses and related equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsMust have good trouble shooting skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Must possess excellent skills in working in a team environmentAble to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentFlexible to work overtime and weekends as neededEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.1-3 years of experience in production environment desiredPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at timesRequired to bend, reach, and move about the facility Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facilityMust be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.For more information and details, email Christy You can also apply online at www.resource-one.usResourceOne is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
