Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a dynamic Corporate Controller to lead their Accounting and Finance team and to support executive decision-making Ideal candidates will bring 7+ years of public accounting experience, thrive autonomously, and drive innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team overseeing accounting tasks across multiple entities.
  • Support business managers in accounting procedures for broadcast stations.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports for strategic decision-making, owning month-end processes.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets for performance evaluation.
  • Ensure revenue recognition compliance and internal financial controls.
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax filings, staying updated on regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate financial insights.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years in progressive public accounting roles.
  • Strong GAAP understanding and Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
