**PRIMARY FUNCTION:**
Plan, implement and supervise Project Safety Program
**TYPICAL DUTIES:**
- Ensure Customer Site Safety Performance Expectations are met
- Conduct Supervisory Safety Meetings and Training
- Conduct Employee Safety Orientations
- Provide guidance to Supervisors for conducting Safety training of their personnel
- Conduct regular walk through inspections of construction areas
- Identify hazardous/potential hazardous conditions; insure corrective action is taken
- Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation as required by the Company, Customer or applicable Law
- Implement Hazard Communication Program & oversee industrial hygiene activities
- Issue various work permits (i.e. to confined space) as required
- Serve as the primary contact for all Regulatory inspections or visits
- Ensure medical preparedness, assistance and supplies are readily available
- Perform additional duties as assigned by VP - Safety and Area Safety Manger
**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:**
Educational and experience requirements include:

BS Degree in Safety Engineering or Related Discipline. 10+ years of field experience.

Initiative and a diversity mindset with a c ustomer and quality focus.

Ability to recognize hazards, drive continuous improvement and take immediate corrective action.

Strong organizational, communication (written and oral) and negotiation/influence skills.

Team oriented and ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities.

Ability to use Lotus Notes, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.

Knowledge of Construction Safety Compliance.
