To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to generate definition of performance requirements for electrical systems and develop high reliability systems to support warfighter needs. You must be able to perform troubleshooting diagnosis of components, subassemblies and test equipment. You must be able to communicate your work products through written reports and oral presentations. The person should have industry experience designing control and power circuits with a strong preference given to candidates who have designed for military platforms. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, or systems. Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to designs. Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved. Conducts research and studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or products. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise; Analytical thinking skills; Problem-solving skills Required Education: Associates Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required Experience: 5 - 7 years’ experience in a relevant function Applicant: Possess the ability to receive a security clearance
