We offer Supervision to motivated professionals who have completed a Master's Degree in Social Work and are interested in receiving expert training and personalized Supervision in a small office setting. CCCVA has the knowledge, focus and experience to prepare you for a rewarding career in social work. Supervisees will receive new-hire and ongoing clinical training, and will participate in both individual and group Supervision, with a focus on providing Supervisees with the knowledge and tools needed to become effective and experienced mental health counselors. Residents in the Supervision program will provide outpatient counseling to a diverse group of clients, ranging from children to seniors who come from all walks of life. Supervision is provided for FREE, with the condition that counselors who complete the program and then obtain their Virginia LCSW license will remain at CCCVA for at least 2 years post licensure. As a Supervisee in our program, you will have the opportunity to: Assist with the intake of new clients and administer bio-soicial-psychological assessments Provide outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide range of conditions and diagnoses Learn how to make correct diagnoses and then develop and implement effective treatment plans for clients Learn how to accept referrals from the medical community, and also how to refer out clients for medical and social services Become proficient with the software, procedures and other tools used by CCCVA to provide high quality mental health services to the community we serve This is a full-time position, with Monday through Friday hours. Work will be In-Person, although some counseling will be done via Telehealth. Counselors have private offices in a very comfortable and inviting office suite. Qualifications Master Degree in Social Work from an accredited school Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized Motivated to learn how to become an excellent counselor
