Licensing Coordinator

Reports to: Licensing/ Tax Manager

Department: Licensing

Job Status: Full Time/ Level 8

Mobility Profile: Flexible

Position Summary:

The Licensing Coordinator is responsible for processing all licenses for the Retail and Home Building Group divisions including all salesperson, city/county, dealer and manufacturing facilities.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all renewals, terminations, transfers, and processing of new licenses deemed necessary by multiple jurisdictions.
  • Responsible for opening new locations as well as handling all renewals for licensed parties for both divisions
  • Basic accounting functions and tax calculations.
  • Maintain licensing database in the BLM (Business License Management) cloud-based site where all licenses are stored.
  • Heavy processing of payments in the Oracle payment system
  • Heavy presence in Transaction Reporting System provided by the payroll database
  • Performs extensive research when necessary
  • Communicate with via telephone with multiple city/ county state representatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school degree required, bachelors preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience in AS/400, Global, Content Manager, 10 Key and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), View Point and Sequel preferred
  • Problem Solving & organizational skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to work both in-office and remotely
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
  • Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
