Looking for an experienced , Massachusetts licensed auto damage Appraiser/Adjuster, F/T or P/T

Experience with CCC Claims software, Audatex estimating software and/or Mitchell's estimating systems, preferred.

Individuals must be detail orientated, have excellent people skills, and be thorough and accurate. Duties will include insurance appraisals, office work, ordering parts and other associated duties.

Requirements

Auto Damage Appraiser/Adjuster - Essential Duties

  • Examines damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
  • Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
  • Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager or supervisor.
  • Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
  • Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
  • Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
  • Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
  • Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
