Job Summary

Responsible for consolidation, reporting and monitoring all aspects of the segment level financial statement (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Capital Expenditures and Cash Flow) processes (Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Financial Planning (AFP) and monthly reporting). Reviews, validates and consolidates Operating Company (OPCO) monthly variances, forecasts, assumptions and risks to achieve; reports segment level results to Corporate Financial Planning. Works closely with OPCO Financial Planning Team, Work Planning & Scheduling, and Corporate Financial Planning.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions Uses effective approaches for choosing course of action or developing appropriate solutions Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences Compiles, organizes and formats data, including qualitative analysis required for internal and external reporting. Identifies and researches reporting issues, provides recommendations, assists with the adoption of new reporting requirements. Recognizes situations where the regulatory framework and rate case outcomes drive our business Supports regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing regulatory schedules and/or preparing pro-forma calculations, testimony and data requests Assists with review and analysis of regulatory documents Appreciates the application of the regulatory construct to our business. Understands terminology and developments Knows when to and can apply technical knowledge to processes, procedures, and tasks Demonstrates a working knowledge of financial statements, metrics and measures, and key strategic business initiatives Understands and utilizes economic and industry data as it relates to job responsibilities Demonstrates a working knowledge of the operating plan and role in the Utility Planning organization and general knowledge of other departments' role in the Utility Planning organization Collaboratively develops solutions between the total utility segment and the enterprise Demonstrates our commitment to quality by documenting work fully and accurately Takes action to identify, analyze and improve existing processes within our organization to maximize opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness and meet new goals and objectives Required Qualifications for Position

All analyst levels

4-year BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline Strong Microsoft Office skills Strong quantitative and analytical skills Business and financial acumen Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results Senior Analyst

Self-motivated and able to work with a minimal level of supervision Demonstrated ability to delivery results on time and with a high degree of accuracy Proven experience in a finance, accounting, and/or regulatory environment Strong technical knowledge and application to job duties Works well in a team environment and demonstrates strong collaboration with peers Demonstrated ability to leverage financial systems and decision support tools to perform job duties Preferred Additional Qualifications for Senior Analyst

At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or related discipline Multiple functional experience MBA and/or CPA Experience with financial systems Disclaimer
