**Description**

**This position pays $14.00 per hour with increases at 90 and 360 days.**

Facilities Assistant I is accountable for providing janitorial type services such as cleaning bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and kitchen areas; restocks supplies as needed.

Ensures buildings are maintained in a clean and orderly condition by cleaning bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, offices, and other areas; emptying trash and replacing trash can liners; sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning other surfaces.

Restocks supplies in bathroom, break areas, etc.; maintains janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Performs proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.

Maintain clean and safe grounds in an efficient manner at a dedicated location by following proper procedures to ensure that company and safety regulations are met. May work at other locations as needed.

Position may require operating company vehicles to transport materials and to maintain offsite facilities.

Completes additional duties and projects as directed by Supervisor/Manager or senior technicians.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. One year of basic janitorial experience is preferred.

* Ability to operate maintenance equipment (e.g. golf cart)

* Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend and climb (e.g. ladders, etc.) on a regular basis for extended periods of time

* Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions

* Ability to work in small, confined, or difficult spaces

* Ability to work unexpected shifts/hours due to business requirements

* Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques

* Must arrive on time to work scheduled hours and complete assigned tasks

* Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License, safe driving record and be insurable by companys liability carrier.
