The Gloucester Marine Terminal is operated by Gloucester Terminals LLC and offers stevedoring and break bulk services. The terminal, located in the Port of Philadelphia has direct access to highways as well as three rail lines that transit across the United States and Canada, providing unrivaled turnaround times for our partners.

The Warehouse Lead Supervisor oversees both laborers and supervisors, managing all front-line warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role involves training, planning, and directing work activities, while maintaining high performance and safety standards.Full TimeBoth day shift and night shift positions availableNon-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:Manages order picking, checking, packing, and shipping to meet daily productivity goalsExpedites workflow and schedules work for each work areaActs as a liaison between office staff, drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure process efficiencyEnforces quality control measures such as clean product, orderly aisles, low error rates, and high productivity performanceReviews and monitors security procedures, performs security checks, and ensures compliance with regulationsMonitors employee performance for accuracy, neatness, and adherence to policies and procedures

Essential Job Functions:General understanding of computer programs, including Microsoft Office and ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong team building and planning abilitiesAbility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of warehouse supervisor experienceCollege Degree or equivalentExperience with perishable goods in the supply chain

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Experience with supervising a team and ensuring productivityAbility to maintain a professional appearance and uphold company imageWork in varying temperatures and environmental conditionsCapable to stand and walk for extended periods

Work Conditions:

This position is located in a refrigerated warehouse facility and involves exposure to widely varying temperature ranges and environmental conditions. Extended periods of walking and standing are required.
