Job Description:

As the Senior Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth through both new and existing clients. Your primary focus will be on expanding product distribution across a variety of retail and ecommerce channels. You will work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company objectives and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Identify key market opportunities and create actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  2. Client Acquisition and Management:Lead efforts to acquire new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing ones. Build rapport with key decision-makers and influencers to secure partnerships and drive sales.
  3. Channel Expansion:Identify and pursue opportunities to expand product distribution across retail and ecommerce channels. Develop partnerships and negotiate agreements to ensure optimal placement and visibility of our clients' products.
  4. Team Leadership and Account Management: Provide strong leadership to the sales team, including setting clear goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential and drive performance.
  5. Performance Analysis and Optimization:Utilize data and analytics to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive results.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  7. Market Intelligence:Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the retail or ecommerce industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
