SUMMARY
The Commissions Analyst III reports to the Commissions Manager. This position assists in the accurate processing of commissions for the sales department. Role includes receiving, reviewing and processing booking and billing files from many different sources to calculate commission values. Calculate SPIF and Award data for processing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform assigned incentive processes which include gathering, calculating, and loading data accurately and timely into incentive system.
Review/Analyze/Report on Incentive transactions to identify trends and potential incentive compensation errors.
Ensure commissions are allocated to the correct sales/solutions representative.
Provide World Class service to assigned Incentive Compensation recipients.
Review source data for accuracy and to support incentive calculation as per approved plan(s).
Resolve, follow up and communicate on incentive issues identified.
Assist in all aspects of the Commission Process.
Autonomously review Incent batches for accuracy.
Review commission payments greater than $5K for accuracy. Using independent judgement, make corrections as needed.
Will be working with very large data sets from multiple resources to research deltas in book vs billed values.
Manage all Records for all variable compensated employees, including uploading and updating changes.
Perform advanced analytical auditing of complex data sets, looking for anomalies and errors. Using independent judgement to make corrections as needed.
Root cause analysis on issues stemming from data or systems processing of data.
Prepare Journal Entries.
Build out system solutions for processing imported data correctly.
Perform annual audits per rep for previous plan year.
Perform the monthly BTL process to release reserves and generate commission values..
Audit missed OMS products with xbox checked in error.
Generate the monthly OMS booking report, sending to the Booking Team, updating, and loading into Incent when completed.
Update and maintain rules, tags and tables within Xactly Incent for accurate processing. Update the system for Incentive plan changes YOY.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent work experience.
5 years of Commission experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to identify, qualify and prioritize activities.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in handling data driven reports.
Flexibility to work overtime.
Must be self-motivating, hard-working, analytical, and proactive.
Must have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing available resources.
Must be able to work well with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the organization.
Microsoft Excel Exceptional skills.
Must exercise independent judgement and work in an autonomous environment.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. May be required to lift or move 10+ pounds.
