Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Financial Advisor Monitoring and Registration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to financial advisor monitoring and registration processes.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring and registration processes.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and process improvements within NFRT.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including business process flows, system workflows, and user guides, to ensure clarity and consistency in procedures.
  • Participate in testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes implemented within NFRT.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends related to financial advisor monitoring and registration, and assess their impact on existing processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance the overall effectiveness of NFRT operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the financial services industry, preferably within a regulatory compliance or monitoring function.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, such as SEC, FINRA, and state licensing requirements.
  • Experience working with technical systems and tools used in financial services, such as CRM systems, compliance monitoring software, and data analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to extract insights and support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
