Description

Summary

Supports a wide scope of accounting processes, including Inventory, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Prepaids, Accruals, and Intercompany/general reconciliations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system and the reconciliation to the general ledger accounts.
  • Responsible for reviewing interface transactions and adjustments from various ERP systems into Cost Point.
  • Responsible for preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and account variance analysis.
  • Provides transactional processing support to the department for routine transactions, such as accounts receivables/ billing/invoicing, GL.
  • Assists management with deliverables to Corporate and external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience Required:
  • BA/BS degree in accounting or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years Corporate Accounting experience or three (3) years Public Accounting experience.
