Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Manager of FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A role will play a crucial part in advancing the financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions for the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) segment. This position entails close collaboration with fellow professionals within the broader IPS FP&A team, Divisional finance and FP&A leadership, as well as functional departments served by the FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities

Support the FP&A processes including Annual Operating Plan, monthly forecasts, monthly Business Unit reporting and other ad hoc requests Partner with FP&A teammates to provide variance analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting. Support monthly and annual forecasts for corporate IPS functions including variance analyses, communication of insights, and reporting results to the business leads. Assist with monthly close analysis and preparation of accruals for the IPS functions, partnering closely with the Commercial department Support the creation of a Sales forecasting process; utilize data and trend information to make topline orders and sales projections Leverage analytical and system knowledge to organize and harness large amounts of data to more effectively translate data into insights for business decision-making. Gather and analyze information to help identify P&L and working capital trends and assist with insightful decision-making. Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies. Prepare reports for inclusion in the monthly Business Unit Review (BUR) decks and President’s Operating Review (POR) reports. Create standard reporting packages; periodic updates (monthly) of the reporting packages Conduct ad-hoc queries in Hyperion to analyze data and support reporting needs Build templates, schedules and decks on an ad-hoc basis as business requirements arise

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or CPA equivalent preferred 4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience FP&A experience at a large, multi-national manufacturing company preferred Experience with Oracle ERP system, Hyperion and/or OneStream is strongly preferred. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Strong communication skills Curious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedback Insightful ability to identify trends and themes for continuous improvement across the function Ability to overcome obstacles and achieve objectives, changing direction along the way to achieve business objectives Motivated by and thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent ad hoc requests and changing priorities.
