Accounting Clerk Opportunity We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a team in Wilmington, Delaware. In this contract to permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate account records. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with both customers and team members. Responsibilities: Process refunds submitted through task management systems for multiple entities. Handle credit card payments and ensure accurate transaction records. Set up, renew, extend, transfer, and cancel memberships as needed. Respond to technician line calls and assist with inquiries. Research customer account details to resolve issues and provide solutions. Update account information, including merging records and transferring accounts. Investigate payments through payment entities and provide documentation upon request. Waive balances as required and address limited customer questions about account problems. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the accounting team. Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks for financial record management. Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy. Familiarity with invoice processing and payment reconciliation. Ability to research and resolve account discrepancies effectively. Excellent communication skills for handling customer inquiries. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
