The Director, Engineering & Design Management monitor and report DES engagement levels, performance KPIs, and deviations of DES engagement plans / strategies, in MPRs and summarized monthly across projects via monthly report to USA Regional Area Leadership Team.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

Lead the development and management of standard Deliverable breakdown between USA and DES Define and manage standard productivity metrics for DES production and ensure they are part of each project’s MPR report. Lead the development and management of standard Deliverable definition & playbook for each discipline Verify staffing plan for the work to be executed by DES Implement and enforce communication protocols between USA and DES by discipline during execution Implement and enforce QA/QC protocol with DES and between DES and USA Make sure training expectations are implemented within DES Ensure timely delivery of Deliverables Ensure work processes and tools are aligned between USA and DES Facilitate dispute resolution process if any between USA and DES Ensure fully transparent cost reporting is in place for DES activities Facilitate project-level review and approval of DES invoices Ensure lessons learned and improvement initiatives shared in full transparency Attend all MPR meetings Attend all PMO meetings Travels between USA and India are expected Ensure other Exyte Regions used in multi-office execution for USA projects follow USA-based DES strategies for their own activities Act as a champion in US Region to push the boundaries of collaboration between US and DES. Is Key Point of Contact in the US for the daily business coordination with DES Helping the proposal and project teams to identify, plan and transfer work packages to DES Challenge the proposal and project teams in US Region to explore more execution of work by DES to make the proposals more competitive and to increase the margin for Exyte. Support for tendering related and involvement of DES, including challenging the proposal and project teams to eliminate external sub-contractors and maximize the use of DES instead. Enabling the management team in DES to operate at optimum resource levels and skillsets to further improve the capacity footprint of DES Aligning, reviewing quality of works with regional and country discipline heads, project teams and all other involved functions Participate on coordination Jour Fixe with DES, cascade works to discipline leads Maintain close contact to project execution with participation of DES to be informed about high- and low lights Conduct frequent feedback discussions with DES to share high- and low lights and drive improvements Lead the development and continual improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), standards, workflows, and checklists related to usage of DES by USA Support on functional coordination of DES workload, qualification, support and staffing
