Director of Operations/Site Manager

The role is located in

Mapleton, IL.

Paid relocation will be provided

This role is Responsible for leading all aspects of the success of the Mapleton site in areas of growth and execution. This role must ensure a safe and healthy work environment is maintained for the Mapleton employees. While also protecting the people and environment of the surrounding area. The expectation is to deliver on all key operations measurables including safety, environmental, quality, production, spending, and delivery to customers.

Essential Job Functions: Provide appropriate coaching and performance feedback to all direct reports(5) and assure that the same is done for all site employees (80). Develop and execute appropriate strategies for all components of Mapleton production. Work with Union to maintain a good working relationship. Ensure continuous improvements in all areas of manufacturing in compliance with appropriate regulations while controlling spending and capital budgets. Ensure production capacity to meet customer needs and execute plan to provide for future requirements. Responsible for proactive community relations and Arxada's local reputation and image. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, MBA in Business highly preferred 3-4 years of experience as a Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, Production Manager or Sr Process Engineer in Chemical manufacturing Hazardous Material and PSM experience required Union experience highly preferred
