Level 1 TIG Welder Summary: Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, bridge parts, and pressure vessels, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. TIG Welder experience required Experience in at least one of the following metals: copper nickel, aluminum, titanium Experience in rotary table and wire feeders a plus Must be able to pass a weld test Education/Experience: High school diploma or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment: Non-Union, Monday - Friday, Day Shift The work environment is controlled (not a shipyard) and the characteristics are described as fast paced.
