Job Description

Our Aircraft Cleaner's primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all aircraft under our care. You will meticulously attend to interior and exterior surfaces, including cabins, lavatories, and windows, using approved cleaning agents and equipment. You will also adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness to uphold the airline's reputation for excellence in passenger experience. As our Aircraft Cleaner will play a vital role in enhancing the overall appearance and hygiene of the aircraft, contributing to a safe and comfortable travel environment for passengers and crew alike.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER

•Clean, wash, and sanitize aircraft cabins including seats, seat pockets, tray tables, and overhead compartments

•Ensure galleys are stocked and organized in accordance with airline standards

•Remove and dispose of trash and debris from the cabin and galley

•Vacuum floors and clean carpets using designated equipment

•Wipe down and disinfect aircraft lavatories

•Replace headrest covers, blankets, and other consumables as needed

•Inspect for any damage or issues within the cabin and report findings to supervisors

•Clean cockpit area without interfering with aircraft controls

•Replenish lavatory supplies and sanitize surfaces

•Follow safety procedures to ensure compliance with health and aviation regulations

•You have very strong customer service skills

•You have a great attention to detail

•You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks

•Physical activity may include:

•Stand and walk for extended periods of time

•Ability to lift 70 pounds or more

•Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment

•Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Qualifications

•Minimum age of 18 years old

•Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

•Reliable Transportation

•High School Diploma or equivalent

•Knowledge of cleaning proctices

•Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets

•Ability to pass a drug screen

•Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
