Senior Quality Manager

We are representing an industry leading automotive supplier who is actively seeking a Senior Quality Manager (multiple plants). This organization provides industry leading benefits, compensation, and working atmosphere. The Senior Quality Manager will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the company General Manager while managing (2) Quality Managers and over 1,000+ employees across (2) manufacturing campuses.
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
- Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
- Candidate will work to train and develop Quality Managers
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree is preferred for consideration
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of automotive Quality management experience
- Candidate should be well versed in IATF-16949
- Experience with Stamping, BIW/Welding, Assembly
