Location: Montvale, NJ (Hybrid - 4 days in-office, 1 work-from-home)
Salary Range: $22-$25/hour

Position Summary
The Authorization Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth service delivery by managing authorization requests, maintaining accurate documentation, and negotiating service contracts. In collaboration with Intake, Scheduling, and Client Coordinators, the Authorization Specialist will be responsible for obtaining, managing, and troubleshooting service authorizations to prevent any disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Authorization Requests & Maintenance: Submit and maintain authorization requests with minimal errors.
- SCA Negotiation: Manage and negotiate service contracts as needed.
- Process Management: Ensure all reassessments and renewals are completed on time, with accurate documentation
- Provider Support: Work closely with internal teams and providers to track and follow up on outstanding authorizations.
- Within 30 Days:
- Complete training on Central Reach and internal processes.
- Submit at least 10 authorization requests with a 90% accuracy rate.
- Within 60 Days:
- Submit 100% of reassessments on time with 98% accuracy.
- Follow up on outstanding authorizations within 72 hours.
- Within 90 Days:
- Maintain 100% on-time submissions without service disruptions.
- Propose at least one process improvement based on trends observed during your work.

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Central Reach and Power BI
- Familiarity with G-Suite for documentation and communication
