Die Cutter

Position Summary:The Cutter Operator is responsible for programming/setting-up, operating, troubleshooting and maintainingautomated cutting equipment that supplies paper stock to envelope converting department in an accurate, timely and safe manner.Essential Duties Include:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.•Read, comprehend and follow all specifications on the job ticket•Program layout specifications and perform set ups on cutter and loader equipment•Collaborate with scheduling and sales departments to ensure optimal production flow•Record and maintain data on production reports, job tickets and computer systems•Perform some maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed•Operate forklift and maintain updated certificationEducation and Experience:•Requires one to three years of die cutting experience.•Strong skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail and a desire to achieve customer satisfaction•Demonstrated openness to process improvement and change•Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed
