The Senior Control Systems Engineer will champion the design, development, and optimization of advanced control systems for a diversified range of projects, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and client needs.

Focus: Draft Electrical Diagrams leveraging AutoCAD Electrical. Design, develop, and oversee PLC, Advanced Motion, and HMI Programs tailored to project needs and client specifications. Formulate new Standard Electrical Design blueprints and adapt existing ones. Actively engage in the Panel Construction phase, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. Incorporate Vision Systems for various applications, including Orientation and Feature Recognition. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of control systems. Analyze client requirements in-depth, translating them into actionable project plans and strategies. Travel occasionally to client sites for system setups, installations, and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with local, state, and global electrical and control system regulations. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in control systems engineering. Evaluate the performance and reliability of existing control systems and recommend improvements or optimizations. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new components or technologies. Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and technicians on control system design and best practices.

Skill Set: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in control systems design and implementation. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, PLC programming, and HMI design. Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues. Effective communication skills, with the capability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and installations. Experience with safety protocols related to control systems, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Familiarity with various communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and PROFIBUS. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
