Position Overview

Kform is seeking an innovative and experienced IoT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions and systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop state-of-the-art IoT applications and products that align with Kforms mission in the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IoT solutions that meet customer needs and project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain IoT devices, sensors, and applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to integrate IoT technologies into new and existing products.
  • Conduct continuous research and development to explore new IoT technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
  • Manage the full IoT development lifecycle, including concept, design, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Ensure the security of IoT systems and data through effective design and protective measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT devices and applications.
  • Document IoT development processes, installations, and configurations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IoT Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful IoT projects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and/or Java.
  • Experience with IoT platforms, protocols, and technologies (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, ZigBee).
  • Experience across the product development process including designing, prototyping, and testing concepts through rapid iterative cycles.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and IoT networking.
  • Strong understanding of IoT security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
