Billing Analyst

Our client, based in Peekskill, NY, is an esteemed construction company, with a rich history spanning over 100 years. Their Accounting group is looking for a dedicated, analytical, Billing Analyst to join their team ASAP.

As a Billing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of their projects, contributing to the organization's continued success.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for the accurate and timely billing of our prestigious construction projects.
• Utilize meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex invoicing processes, ensuring that all billable items are accurately recorded and accounted for.
• Closely partner with project managers, contractors, and clients, establishing strong working relationships to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Navigate billing systems and software to assist with streamlining processes.
• Participate in month-end close activity.

• Ideally an Associate's degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (though we will consider any business-related major)
• Advanced Excel skills would be helpful - pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Excellent communication skills
