We also help ensure your messaging is communicated and received as intended through services like technical writing, graphic design, and publications support.

The Web Accessibility Specialist collaborates with stakeholders regarding accessibility concerns within digital products with a focus on the development of improved digital experiences.

Basic Services - The Contractors shall serve as Senior Program Analyst by providing support to Government employees and service to other assigned work units in IOD. The service can focus on a single or a variety of job functions with varying degrees of independence within IOD.

management and technical support duties, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

Familiar with business operations and demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, team building, and innovative thinking. Ability to remediate .pdf documents for 508 compliance. Identifies and resolves accessibility barriers to provide accessible instructional material and websites. Supports real-time and post-production captioning services to provide accessibility. Evaluates the accessibility of instructional technology devices and software and makes recommendations concerning best practices. Conducts accessibility testing against WCAG 2.0 (A, AA) success criteria and federal requirements. Follows accessibility related standards and laws, including WCAG, ADA Section 508 and WAI-ARIA. Performs other related or similar duties as required or assigned. Essential Functions Determines appropriate tools, information, resources, and training needed to resolve technical and instructional accessibility barriers . Participates in planning and developing administrative and program activities. Reviews records and data for accuracy, reconciles differences, and works with other staff and university offices to identify errors and make corrections. Compiles data and prepares reports used to monitor or assess department activities, programs, and services or project future needs. Oversee the maintenance and modification of complex filing and recordkeeping systems. Maintains records and prepares necessary reports. Prepares work for data processing and maintain working files and production records Managing internal and client communications and maintaining program knowledge management / tracking

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text. Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently. Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Resourceful and able to maintain composure in high pressure situations. Maintain complete confidentiality, a strong sense of urgency; be proactive & self-directed, with a positive, approachable demeanor. Excellent organizational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail Good judgment, tact, and initiative to make effective independent decisions when necessary. Ability to participate in cross training efforts and provide direct guidance to other areas within _____with the aim of maximizing team capability, knowledge and focus on achieving ____and strong customer feedback. Promote an atmosphere of respect, inclusiveness, openness, and an approach to seek to understand. Requirements:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of 3 years of related experience required. Physical and Working Conditions: 95% telecommute position with the exception of some travel related to annual meetings, acquisitions, conferences, and other events including customer requests.
