Job Type: PRN The Speech Language Pathologist works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation. Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities: The Speech Language Pathologist will work to provide therapy to our residents throughout our facility. Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation. Speech Language Pathologist facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive treatment plans including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities. Will provide comprehensive treatments to patients utilizing modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated while adhering to precautions. Will participate in developing and implementation of resident assessments and care plans. Will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans. Education/Experience Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an MS in Speech-Language Pathology Therapist that ASHA recognizes.
