Data Science and Business Intelligence, Sr. Analyst

Job Overview: The DS / BI Sr. Analyst will work directly on the Revenue Strategy and Operations team, which plays a critical role in revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and driving operating efficiencies. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for extracting insights and knowledge from large and complex datasets to drive informed business decisions. They combine statistical analysis, machine learning, and domain expertise to solve complex problems and generate actionable insights. Ability to analyze and visualize data to support business decision-making by developing reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations that provide insights into company performance, trends, and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Collect and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analysis.
Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to uncover patterns and correlations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide data-driven solutions.
Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Continuously improve and optimize models to adapt to changing business needs and new data.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create metrics to measure business performance.
Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide timely solutions.
Monitor and maintain the integrity and accuracy of BI solutions and data sources.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
Expertise in machine learning techniques, such as regression, clustering, classification, and deep learning.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries, data modeling and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard creation using BI tools.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Effective communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
Business acumen and understanding of the industry and company's goals.
5-7 year of experience required, experience working at a financial institution / investment bank or big tech preferred.
