We are currently seeking a highly driven, professional leader to become a Full-Time Android Sales Expert within a Best Buy retail location, who will demonstrate and sell the most exciting and desired Android-powered devices

The Full-Time Android Sales Expert will be expected to empower the consumer by sharing their expert knowledge and advanced customer service skills to promote and sell the newest Android powered smartphones, tablets and all Android Ecosystem add-on devices and accessories.

Weekly Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 40hrs/wk
Pay Rate: $22-23/hr

Responsibilities

The Full-Time Android Expert Will:
  • Be an Android Expert around on key features and benefits of the full Android Ecosystem of products, focused on selling to consumers, supporting customers after the sale has closed (post sales support)
  • Secondary focus on training Retail Sales Associates and building relationships to build in-store advocates of the brand
  • Conduct consumer facing activities to meet sales goals, selling end to end with consumers including POS transaction processing
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all internal and external partners, including Mosaic management, peers, client sand in-store personnel including high-level management
  • Execute product training and demos for sales associates and retail partners to build advocacy and facilitate consumer engagement and sales
  • Build Android brand presence through maintenance of merchandising and displays
  • Provide competitive insights to Mosaic management as requested
  • Complete all administrative tasks and on-going personal training in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned
The candidate's success will be measured by:
  • Sales and training performance metrics
  • Adherence to accurate/timely reporting within Mosaic and BBY systems
  • Other factors such as impact on customer returns/retention, positive interpersonal communication skills, enthusiastic and friendly attitude, cleanliness of space, etc.
  • KPIs and overall expectations will be fully outlined during training, with a clear path and support to achieve goals
Qualifications
  • Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology gadgets, and preferably an avid Android user and/or enthusiast
  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment with required knowledge of "Point of Sale" and/or cash register transactions.
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to offer after-sales customer support and influence customer retention
  • Independent and motivated team player
  • Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day
  • Regular physical activity may be required (e.g., setting up promotional material, lifting up to 25lbs)
  • Ability to work a very flexible retail schedule, hours may vary
  • Must have the ability to commute to assigned store and arrive on time for assigned shift(s)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Windows, Microsoft office and general social media applications
  • Daily access to internet/email
  • 3+ years of wireless and or/ PC retail sales and/or training experience is a plus
  • Experience working with any of the larger wireless carriers is a plus
  • Ability to sit or stand for a full work shift
